Work Experience and Volunteering

Work Experience at Brookland Infant & Nursery School

Please contact Mrs Hurst, the Deputy Headteacher via the school office on office@brooklandinf.barnetmail.net if you are thinking of applying to the school to undertake work experience in preparation for a course of training to work with children or part of normal work experience within a school.

Please note that we do receive a large number of enquiries and therefore requests cannot always be accommodated.

All applicants will require Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) clearance and this will be required before any work placement can commence. The DBS helps to make safer recruitment decisions and prevent unsuitable people from working with vulnerable groups, including children. We are committed to the safeguarding and well-being of all children and staff.

Details of how to obtain your DBS clearance can be found on the following website:

Volunteering at Brookland Infant & Nursery School

Thinking of becoming a volunteer?

We’d like to welcome you!

Volunteers at our school bring with them a range of skills and experience that can enhance the learning opportunities of children at our school. We have many parents, carers and people from our local community who come into school to help in the classrooms. They make a huge difference and staff and children really appreciate their help.

Please contact Mrs Hurst, the Deputy Headteacher via the school office on office@brooklandinf.barnetmail.net

Please refer to our Volunteer Policy and Work Experience Policy for further information.
